  • The building was designed by Sir astheno Webb, a British architect, with a record number of projects of which the eastern facade of Buckingham Palace and the facade of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

    This two-story granite building in the neo-classical style with Ionic columns was built 15 January 1912 It is topped by a statue of Themis, because initially located in this house the Supreme Court. This statue is a replica of the Greek goddess of justice and the law to the Old Bailey in London.

    Legislative Council "moved" into the building in 1985 and remained there until 1997. Now here is the Court of Appeal.
