  • This magnificent three-span arch was erected in 203, in honor of the glorious victories of the Roman emperor Septymіya North over Parfіyay. The basis of the arch is made of simple brick and marble outside it. The height and width of the building is 21 and 24 meters respectively. Central passage reaches twelve in height and width - seven meters, while the side spans have three options to 8 meters. At the time of construction of the arch was decorated with statues of the emperor and his sons Caracalla and Geta, which contributed to the victory, but to this day the statues, unfortunately, did not survive.

Deserves a separate description decor Arc de Triomphe - it works fine reliefs that show battle scenes military campaigns 195-203 years, during which the emperor broke the Parthians and turned to flee.
